The original name was actually Tim Horton’s because it was opened by Tim Horton, the hockey player for the Maple Leafs. Their prices seem modestly low, and they have a rewards program similar to their rival, Starbucks. Canada still boasts the largest number of locations with over 4,000 stores within its border, followed by the United States with around 600 cafes.
